Nawa Arsala Lodin

Nawa Arsala Lodin is a an attorney with Fox Rothschild. She earned her J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law, during which she was awarded the American Bar Association Health Law Section’s Emerging Issues in Healthcare Law Scholarship for 2016. Nawa received her B.A. from the George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs. There she received President Steven Knapp’s prestigious award as a Power and Promise Scholar.
Nawa worked at the Embassy of Afghanistan’s Political Affairs department under Ambassador Said Tayeb Jawad. She later worked for several years at the U.S. Department of Justice’s Human Rights and Special Prosecution’s section. During her tenure as President of the Afghan Student Association, Nawa organized several successful events for Afghanistan, including a walk-a-thon with Women for Afghan Women, a baby formula drive with the U.S.-Afghan Women’s Council and a fundraising launch for the Smithsonian’s Turquoise Mountain exhibit.
